How do I keep deer from eating the seed in my hanging bird feeder? I can't just build a fence.?

Thank you for responses (those that should anyway :-)). I was looking for more suggestions for additions to the bird seed m. I have no trees nearby and you do not want to buy a taller mast, so it hanging above is not an option.
Move It Up above so they can not reach, no matter how high it is for the birds, but if you put it up high enough, the deer will not be capable of 'reach. they eat the food because they are hungry, throw some food on the ground, from feeders and bother them.
